Free Film Screening for the SKiPPS Community
The Children's International Film Festival and SKIPPS invite the school community to a free preview screening of the stunning French animated film Sirocco and the Kingdom of the Winds.
CHFF is back with a month-long celebration of cinema designed to captivate and inspire young audiences and their families. This year for the first time ever, CHIFF will run throughout the winter school holidays from 8 June to 14 July 2024 in Melbourne & Sydney.

Meet Leigh Hobbs at the Children’s International Film Festival!
The Children’s International Film Festival is thrilled to welcome renowned Australian artist and author Leigh Hobbs as festival guest!
The festival will screen Leigh’s animated short film Mr. Chicken Goes to Mars (co-directed with Katrina Mathers). Kids will be able to ask questions after the film! Leigh will also be available to sign everyone’s books in the cinema foyer.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to chat to the Australian Children's Laureate in 2016 and 2017 and creator of the Australian iconic characters Old Tom, Horrible Harriet, Mr Chicken, Mr Badger, Fiona the Pig.
Tickets also include the screening of the festival favourite Billy, the Cowboy Hamster.
