3/4 H Simultaneous Reading Responses - Bowerbird Blues

In 3/4H we have been learning about adjectives and how they enhance our writing. We read the book ‘Bowerbird Blues’, a descriptive narrative rich in vocabulary from the Shortlisted books from 2024. This was part of the Australian Simultaneous Reading conducted a couple of weeks ago. The students responded to this text by providing appropriate adjectives to describe the main character, the bowerbird. This was complemented with an illustration that depicted this character in the story.  You can see our wonderful reading responses below.
