On Friday the 17th of May, 27 students travelled to Barraba to compete in the Diocesan Cross Country Carnival. All students gave it their absolute best and did a phenomenal job! A massive thank you to Mrs Grills for supporting our students on the day and cheering them on. St Mary of the Angels had incredible results on the day with many students finishing in the top 10! We were also incredibly close (only just over 1 point) from winning the Small Schools Trophy for 2024.
A big congratulations to Scarlett (2nd in Year 12/13 Girls), Flynn (2nd in Year 11 Boys), Hugo (1st in 10 Year Boys) and Matthew (6th in 10 Year Boys) who qualified for Polding next month in Sydney.
Christopher recently competed in the Byron Bay Triathlon involving a 300m ocean swim, 10km bike ride and a 3km run. We are seriously impressed that Christopher was able to compete in an event of this nature and to finish in 5th place! Well done Christopher we are very proud of your efforts.
