Student Voice at ENPS

At Essendon North Primary School, we value the unique perspectives of our students and aim to provide them ways to actively participate in shaping their own schooling experience. Our commitment to fostering student leadership and participation is demonstrated through various initiatives, including our Junior School Council (JSC). Recently, our JSC has been working with Mr Smith, and they have been very excited to see our new Student Voices Boxes in action!

This initiative allows students to share their ideas and perspectives on improving our school. The Student Voice Boxes are strategically placed around the school, providing easy access for all students to contribute their thoughts.

How to Share Your Ideas

  • QR Code Option: Scan the QR code placed on the boxes (parents can assist younger students).
  • Physical Templates: JSC representatives are creating physical templates available near the boxes for students to fill out.
  • Handwritten Notes: Simply write your idea on a piece of paper and drop it into any of the Student Voice Boxes.

Location of Student Voice Boxes

You can find our Student Voice Boxes in the following locations:

We have also included a link to the Student Voice form HERE along with the QR code for easy access.

By providing multiple ways to share feedback, we aim to ensure that every voice has the opportunity to be heard and valued in our school community. Although we can't promise big changes like building a canteen, we are committed to making meaningful improvements. In fact, Mr Smith has already started purchasing additional play equipment in response to the wonderful suggestions we have received so far!

We look forward to hearing more from our students and continuing to improve our school together. Thank you for being an active part of Essendon North Primary School's community!
