Year Three to Year Six Athletics Carnival

Our Year Three to Six Athletics Carnival days took place last week at the Moonee Valley Athletics Track.

We were very fortunate to have perfect conditions, on both days, and it was exciting to see the students getting involved and enjoying the sunshine and the events! Both days were a huge success thanks to the amazing effort of all our Year Three to Six students, along with the help from parents, teachers and support staff.

All students competed in both field and track events and we congratulate all of them for showing persistence, wonderful sportsmanship, and contributing to the overall House Points on the day.

The winning House was Baan! Congratulations!

Successful students who will represent Essendon North Primary School at the District Athletics in Term Three, will be notified before the end of Term Two.

District Cross Country Event

On Tuesday May 21st, students from our ENPS Cross Country Team attended Buckley Park for the Essendon District Cross Country event.

Students displayed plenty of energy, enthusiasm and school spirit racing across 2000 and 3000 metre races, with the chance to win and represent Essendon North Primary School at the Moonee Ponds Divisional Event on the 29th of May.

To all of the students, you should be extremely proud of your efforts. It takes great determination and persistence to tackle such a long and gruelling race. We hope you achieved your personal best.
