Wellbeing Wagon

Our school has been inspired by a Sunshine Coast teacher aide who introduced a Wellbeing Wagon to support children on the playground. Please see the following news article for further information if you're interested.

Wellbeing Wagon

Our SRC students have been working on how we will introduce the Wellbeing Wagon as well as finding ways to get feedback from the students as to what they would like inside it. We have gathered some materials however we are still looking for some items.

A note from some of our SRC students

'Do you have any spare items that could go in our Wellbeing Wagon? We are looking for Bowling, Twister Game, Hungry Hippo Game, and card games and puzzles. Please send them to the office'  Raff, Henley, Celeste and Isla.

Child Safety

St Michael's is committed to promoting child safety and wellbeing in our school environment to safeguard our students against any type of abuse, neglect or harm. I would like to remind you that the following policy is available on our school website via this link.  Child Safety Code of Conduct Policy

In addition, all classrooms have the below poster displayed in their classrooms. Teachers regularly review these procedures and create an environment where all students feel valued, heard and listened to.
