Leadership Centre

Highlight

Salamat siang,

Wow, another action-packed week has flown by in the Leadership Centre!

Early in the week for maths, we began exploring angles in the world around us by going on an angle hunt. We then began to look at the different types of angles, symmetry and the features of shapes over the week. In English, we spent some time developing and drafting our narratives. It was unreal to see so many different plans and ideas come to life, and we can’t wait to see the published pieces in the coming weeks. Guided Inquiry has also been very busy, with many of the dioramas starting to take shape. We are looking forward to seeing the end products at the completion of the unit!

A further highlight last week was having Hawthorn AFL players come to visit the senior students. It was very inspiring and insightful to hear their stories around leadership, working through challenges, and team work. A big thanks to Hamish Burrill for organising this event for us in the senior school.

Have a restful weekend,

The Leadership Centre Teachers
