ICAS 2024
What is ICAS?
ICAS is an online academic competition that is designed to assess students’ higher order thinking and problem-solving skills in English, Mathematics, Science, Writing and Digital Technologies. It is a parent paid competition which is open to students from Years 2 to 6.
Every student who participates will receive a printed certificate and an online results report. Top performers will be eligible for medals.
How to participate in ICAS
If you wish for your child to participate in ICAS this year, please refer to the ICAS Testing Centres webpage.
Your child must:
- Be enrolled in an Australian or New Zealand school that isn’t participating in this year’s ICAS for the desired subjects
- Participate in their current year level
- Have their own, fully-charged compatible device that has passed our technical readiness test, and has the locked-down browser application installed (for Writing subject only). See technical requirements here.
Each subject costs AU$57.75 or NZ$62 (incl. GST), aside from Writing, which costs AU$62.75 or NZ$67 (incl. GST). This is paid when booking online. You must register and pay for your child’s session to gain entry to the test.
Bookings close on 12 July 2024, or as soon as allocations are exhausted.

- Writing (Year 3 - 12): Friday, 2 August 2024 & Saturday, 3 August 2024
- English (Year 2 - 12): Friday, 9 August 2024 & Saturday, 10 August 2024
- Science (Year 2 - 12): Friday, 16 August 2024 & Saturday, 17 August 2024
- Mathematics (Year 2 - 12): Friday, 23 August 2024 & Saturday, 24 August 2024

Health Alert
With the recent increase in COVID-19 activity, influenza (flu), and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infections it is important that the Kinder and School take steps to reduce the spread of disease by ensuring all staff and children wash and sanitise their hands regularly, cover their nose and mouth when they cough or sneeze, and that we are using air purifiers and maximising external ventilation. Staff and children should stay up to date with flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, stay home if unwell, and consult their GP or Nurse on Call.
School Lunch Orders - Thursdays
We are excited to let you know that lunch orders are back! These will begin in Term 2 and be available every Thursday for purchase. Please find attached the menu to see what is available. Orders will need to be placed via the Flexischools App
