This fortnight we have been working on Reconciliation week and children have learned some new games like Kai. They have been busy working on the hand print poster too. We also worked on updating our birthday chart. From there after discussion with children we have decided to celebrate children's birthday on the Tuesday of the last week of each month. We started with celebrating May month birthdays by baking rainbow cookies.

Pupil Free Day

We are pleased to inform you that a Pupil Free Day has been confirmed at MOUNT PLEASANT ROAD VIC OSHCLUB and will be running on Tuesday, 11 June 2024.

The session will run all day from 7.00am to 6.00pm at the cost of $70.00 (before any applicable Child Care Subsidy). Many families are eligible for Child Care Subsidy, which reduces the out of pocket cost of outside school hours care. To establish what level of CCS you may be entitled to please contact the Centrelink Family Assistance Office on 13 61 50.

How to book: Please log in to your account online at www.oshclub.com.au and book in under the Pupil Free Day Room.

Please note that bookings can not be made online within 5 days of the session commencing. In order to book within this period, you will need to contact the MOUNT PLEASANT ROAD VIC OSHCLUB service directly on 0427144945.

What happens: We provide fun activities for all ages including arts and craft, games, sports, drama, board games, dress ups and fun with friends.

What to bring: Please bring morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Make sure your children wear/bring appropriate footwear and clothing, including a hat.

Please also note the following:

  • All regular Before and After School Care bookings have been removed.
  • 7 days’ notice is required for cancellation of the Pupil Free Day, to ensure you will not incur out of pocket costs.  
  • A $4 late booking fee applies for bookings made within 5 days of the session commencing.

There are still a lot of jumpers in the tub near the OSH room entrance. Feel free to walk in during our operating hours to go through the tub if your child/ren is missing their school jumper.

Every week we are planning to set up one stall on every Friday of June to fundraise for Smith Family. We will be organising bake and sell stall, Art and craft stall, Osh Opshop stall and book stall.

Change to Booking Terms and Conditions

In line with industry standards, we have also modified two fee conditions which has been implemented in Term 1 2024 and will continue in Term 2 2024 as follows:

  1. Non-notified absence fee - The service must be notified ideally via the parent portal) if your child will not be attending an afternoon session. Failure to provide notice will mean the service delivery team cease other duties until your child is located or accounted for and may result in a call to emergency services. If the service is not notified of your child's absence prior to the Stay and Play session start time a $20 fee will be charged to your account.
  2. Late pick up fee - If your child is not picked up before the official closing time of the service, a $20 per 15-minute fee will be automatically applied to your account.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur and are available to discuss payment options and provide concessions where possible.
