Sydney Writers' Festival
Our Book Club was so excited to attend the Sydney Writers' Festival excursion. It started with a very cold morning. We boarded the train on our way to Town Hall.
When we arrived, we found some benches to eat our Crunch n Sip and took some photos. The first authors we listened to spoke about their books, they were Jol and Kate Temple. We listened to two more authors speak about their exciting new books.
I found it very interesting to hear the authors talking about their lives. It gave us insight into how their books related to them.
It was a long, fun day, filled with happy memories. I recommend students to try out Book Club next year as they may get to have this amazing experience.

To be honest, the Sydney Writers' Festival was really fun! Ms Lee and Miss Vuong came along with students of the Book Club. There were other schools there as well. We travelled there because we were going to meet the authors and get our books signed! In my opinion, the most interesting part of the excursion was to listen to all the stories some authors told and doing an 'info sheet' about 'Go Joe'.
