AI and Schools Professional Learning
Schools are in the midst of the AI revolution, and new developments are appearing constantly. We are offering a series of professional learning workshops to support school staff and leadership teams. A calendar invitation with zoom link will be shared with participants after registration. These workshops will be offered again at the start of term 4.
Key principles for using AI in Education & Introduction to Google Suite AI tools
This session will explore how AI works and present some key principles to guide teachers and students in its use. It will also offer an introduction to the tools available to teachers as part of the Google suite and offer some practical activities for skill building to support teachers’ work.

AI and assessment
This session is aimed at supporting school leaders to understand the impact of AI on assessment processes. It will build on the work with secondary middle leaders in term 1, and address assessment design and delivery as key supports to underpin assessment processes moving forward.

AI and Deepfakes
This session will explore deepfakes and the rise in AI technologies which are making their production more accessible to a wider audience. We will discuss proactive approaches schools can take and how to respond to deepfake incidents in a school setting. The discussion will be underpinned by recent research into the demographics related to teenagers.
