Year 5

Ambulance Visit – Learning Lifesaving Skills

On Tuesday, our students were excited to welcome a visiting ambulance crew to school! We would like to thank Mr Degabriel and his team for giving our students a wonderful experience.  The visit gave students a hands-on opportunity to learn more about emergency care and the important work of paramedics.

Students took part in:

  • CPR Demonstrations – practising the steps of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and understanding how quick action can save lives.
  • Ambulance Tour – exploring the inside of a real ambulance, looking at medical equipment, and seeing where patients are cared for on the way to hospital.
  • Talks with Paramedics – hearing stories from our local heroes about their jobs, the importance of staying calm in emergencies, and how kids can help if someone needs assistance.
