Year 2

On Friday the 12th of September Year 2 had an early start for a day at the Cowra Japanese Gardens. All the students were very excited and couldn't wait to get on the double decker bus!

Once we arrived at the Gardens students were given the opportunity to experience many different areas. These areas included the Edo Cottage where a real tea ceremony was reenacted, the Education Centre where students learnt about what Kabuki is and the cultural Centre where the students made a Paper Crane.

A highlight of the day for the children was definitely when they got to feed the Koi fish, some were even lucky enough to feed some of the many ducklings that were wandering around!
