Refugee Week: 2nd - 20th June

To mark Refugee Week, Student Leadership in association with the Human Rights Club are holding a food drive to assist the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre Foodbank.

The ASRC Foodbank supports people seeking asylum and refugees to access culturally appropriate food and essential items in a warm and welcoming environment.

They aim to reduce food insecurity by providing access to sufficient nutritious and culturally appropriate food that meets the requirements for an active and healthy life. They also provide basic toiletries and cleaning goods.

The ASRC Foodbanks supports approximately 1200 people per month, approximately 40% of them are children.

Please see the attached poster with requested items. Food items can be left in the boxes provided outside the sub school offices.
