Sport at Homestead

Senior Inter-school Sports

Homestead Senior Secondary College’s senior sports teams proudly represented the school at the Hobsons Bay Division Championships. Our Senior Boys and Girls Badminton teams showed incredible skill and determination, taking out the top spot in their competitions - an outstanding achievement for the students involved. Meanwhile, our Soccer and Netball teams faced some tough opposition in challenging draws. While they didn’t come away with wins, their effort, sportsmanship, and teamwork were on full display.  

Congratulations to our winning badminton teams and a big thank you to all students and staff involved for a great day of competition!

Interschool Swimming

Homestead Congratulates Lucinda and Angie for their successful swims at the Western Metropolitan Regional Secondary finals. 

Lucinda dominated in the 50m freestyle and took out first place. She then followed this up with 3rd in 50m butterfly and 5th in 200m individual medley. 

Angie took out 4th in her race too. 

Overall a fantastic outcome for both swimmers, Congratulations.
