School Council

Education Support Appreciation Day: Friday May 16th

School Council would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to all our incredible Education Support Staff.

Your dedication, compassion, and tireless efforts behind the scenes and directly with the students play a vital role in the daily life of our school. Whether you're assisting in classrooms, supporting students with diverse needs, managing resources, maintaining facilities, or keeping everything running smoothly, your contributions make a lasting impact on the learning experience and well-being of our students.

Thank you Shirley, Kristie, Alana, Deb, Georgia, Haley, Ida, Joyce, Renee, Owen, Adam, Andreas and Yona for all that you do.

We see you, we value you, and we thank you. Today - and every day - we celebrate the important work you do and the positive difference you make in our school community.

A huge thank-you to our social committee, who have been hard at work across the first half of the year. By the end of Term 2, they will have organised seven events, connecting our TPS and local communities and raising over $18K.

A shout out to our talented event organisers – thank you for your creative ideas, dedicated effort and for delivering fantastic events – Helene Artz, Shelly Brunt, Carys Evans, Ali Gratian, Kelvin Hui and Lauren Roy!

Each event is organised from start to finish by different parents with the support of committed volunteers from our community, staff and students. Thank you to all who have donated their time.

There's plenty more to come this year and I would encourage anyone interested to step forward and bring about a great idea they have. Just reach out to the social committee at: tps.socialctte@gmail.com

Buildings and Grounds Committee in 2025 - How to Get Involved

Working Bees (4 times a year), social, fun and family oriented (and we get lots of work done too!)

  • Master Plan for the grounds – work has commenced to dream up ways for our grounds to be improved.
  • Voluntary Grounds Contribution – parents’ annual contribution is vital to ensure we can maintain our grounds, fix broken equipment and pay for services as required.
  • Chooks and garden – The chickens and garden are looked after by a roster of families on weekends and school holidays.
  • Join the Building and Grounds Committee – meetings are held at school monthly during school terms.
  • We are looking for new members so please come along whether you have ideas, skills or enthusiasm to contribute.
