SSV STATE SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS

A huge congratulations to Issei L (5ND), Pierce S (5ND), Jett K (5RC), and Charlie B (5SM), who proudly represented both themselves and Greenhills Primary School at the SSV State Swimming Championships held last week at MSAC.

Their impressive results were:

  • Issei L – Boys U11 4x50m Freestyle Relay: 4th
  • Pierce S – Boys U11 Breaststroke: 4th | Boys U11 4x50m Freestyle Relay: 4th
  • Jett K – Boys U11 4x50m Freestyle Relay: 4th
  • Charlie B – Boys U11 4x50m Freestyle Relay: 4th

Reaching the State Championships is a remarkable accomplishment—especially considering over 30,000 students began this journey at the District level. The entire Greenhills community is incredibly proud of your hard work, effort and achievements.

 Well done! 💪🏼

CAMPS, SPORTS, EXCURSION FUND (CSEF)

School camps provide children with inspiring experiences in the great outdoors. Excursions encourage a deeper understanding of how the world works while sports teach teamwork, discipline and leadership.  All are a part of a healthy curriculum.  CSEF is provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

If you hold a valid means-tested concession card or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. A special consideration category also exists for asylum seeker and refugee families. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions or sporting activities for the benefit of your child.

The annual CSEF amount per primary school student is $154.

If you received CSEF in 2024 you do not need to apply again, however if you are new to Greenhills and have a valid concession card or have an additional child (eg Prep) that commenced, please complete the attached form (available from the office too) and hand into the office with a copy of your concession card. Any queries please don’t hesitate to contact the office.  Applications close 4th July 2025.  Here is the link to complete the form :
