Proactively responding the mental health needs of our students

October is Mental Health Awareness Month

Although the month is almost over, we have had some staff suggest that the 'Appreciation Station' stays up for longer than the month of October.

There are Gratitude slips, pens and pegs in a ziplock bag attached to the wall for you to continue to show you appreciation for the small things in life.

Studies have found that a single act of thoughtful gratitude produces an immediate 10% increase in happiness.

“Enjoy the little things. For one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” -Robert Brault
