HEADLICE... HEADLICE... HEADLICE... (channeling Jimmy Rees)
There are so many treatment options available for headlice, however the main points to remember are basically the same for all:
- Apply treatment - leave for recommended time
- Use a NIT comb through the hair MULTIPLE times to remove NITS and EGGS
- REPEAT @ 7 days then 14 days to break the cycle and remove any remaining eggs/nits
- ALL household members to be treated
- WASH
- bedding, pillow cases, sheets etc
- comforters - teddys, blankies, sookies etc
- hair brushes and combs
- toweling/face washers
- HATS - especially your child's school hat.
