Years 5 & 6

What better way to start the week than with team work and muscle power. Enthusiastically,  Jack, Mietta, Hughie, Holly and Justin helped to dismantle an old garden bed and install a new one. Things are looking very schmick in the school garden and we are all looking forward to reaping the rewards of the new garden beds. 

Back in the classroom we are nearing the completion of our narrative writing unit of work. We examined the structure of a paragraph further this week by reading examples taken from Tim Winton's Blueback and Morris Gleitzman's Once. Final copies are due to be completed next week so stay tuned for a taste of their creativity.
