National Futsal School Championship 

Congratulations to our Year 8 student Isabella Stretton who attended the National Futsal School Championship, in Brisbane during the first week of the October school holidays. Isabella is the Under 15s Goalkeeper for the Eastcoast Eagles Futsal team. The team came away with the 2023 Championship medal beating a Qld team that had won the title the previous 2 years.

Bowraville Cup

On Thursday the 2 November, the annual Bowraville Memorial Cup. The Memorial Cup was envisioned by the families of Evelyn Greenup, Colleen Walker and Clinton Speedy-Duroux as a legacy event, but also as a day of fun for local kids, and as a platform for healing.

Kempsey High School students had the opportunity to play touch football, basketball and participate in fun interactive workshops. This event has a strong focus on healing and connecting community along with providing social, emotional and wellbeing support for families. This was a day that was enjoyed by everyone, and the student's showed enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the day.
