Parents and Friends Association
The Brentwood Parents and Friends Association (PFA) welcome a new school year as well as all the existing and new families joining our community! The year promises to be filled with wonderful opportunities for community engagement and support for our school programs.
Brentwood Parents and Friends association organizes several fundraising events during the school year such as barbeques, raffles and trivia nights, to support various initiatives for our college’s Sports, Sustainability, Music and Performing Arts Programs. As a government funded school, our fundraising initiatives assist in providing better learning & extra-curricular opportunities for the students; all funds collected though these events are destined to contribute to financial needs associated to the above-mentioned programs and wider opportunities for the wellbeing and benefit of our students.
Annual General Meeting Highlights
On February 9th, we held our Annual General Meeting for 2026. We are thrilled to introduce our new office bearers for this year:
- President: Jase Subramanian
- Co-Vice President: Holly Oakes and Vicky Bouranis
- Treasurer: Andrew Robbins
- Co-Secretaries: Fiona Sherri and Loreana Mendoza de Rios
We would like to thank the new (and returning) families who assisted the Annual General Meeting and have expressed interest in joining us.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the outgoing co-secretary, Jo Prendergast, for her work and dedication; she will be stepping down her chair but still contributing to our association and community.
Upcoming Events
We are excited to announce a series of events planned for this year to raise funds and support various school programs. Keep an eye out, ready to mark your calendars for these fantastic events:
- Hall BBQ’s: Our popular sausage sizzles supporting the Brentwood Music concerts throughout the year will continue.
- Raffles: Participate in our raffles for a chance to win amazing prizes and raise funds for school programs.
- Trivia Night: Join us for an awesome trivia night filled with fun, laughter, and friendly competition.
- Bunnings BBQ’s: We will hold our first Bunnings sausage sizzle on Saturday 7th of March in Bunnings Notting Hill located in 232 Ferntree Gully Rd, join us to lend a hand or to support fundraising directed to school programs.
These events not only help raise important funds but also provide wonderful opportunities for parents, friends, and families to come together and celebrate our school community.
Join Us and Get Involved
We warmly invite anyone interested in learning more about the Parents and Friends Association to attend one of our monthly meetings. These gatherings are a great way to discover what we are all about, meet other parents, and find out how you can contribute. Whether you can offer a lot of time or just a little, every bit of help is welcome, and your involvement will be greatly appreciated.
Being part of the PFA is a fantastic way to get involved in the school community and make meaningful connections. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting on Monday 30th of March at 7:00 pm in the Administration Building – enter via Reception) and working together towards another successful year.
