Mission Day - Socktober for Catholic Missions
This Wednesday the school participated in Mission Day - a day where the students learnt about the work of Catholic Missions in Malawi, made balls out of recycled socks and had a soccer penalty shootout - all while wearing their colourful socks.
The students also explore the idea of sport as a driver for peace, and considered the way they can help bring peace to others.
The funds raised from today's activities will support the building of schools, healthcare, and community initiatives to elevate the impacts of poverty.
If you would like to make a donation to support the work of Catholic Missions you can do so via the St. Therese's fundraising page: Socktober - St Therese's Primary School, Kennington
