A Focus on Learning
Let's take a look at what has been happening in Stage 3... an you solve the riddle?
I soared through space, a giant leap,
Carrying dreams both vast and deep.
With footprints left upon the dust,
A mission built on hope and trust.
A number odd, a godly name,
In history's book, a claim to fame.
What am I?
This week, the students in Stage 3 have been having fun with 3D shapes in Maths, learning about their properties including making skeletal models of prisms and pyramids while also exploring their cross sections using playdough!
In Writing, students have been focused on factual recounts about the historic Apollo 11 Mission. They have been researching and retelling the exciting story of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin’s moon landing with clear facts and details, learning how to structure their recounts effectively.
It’s been a week full of exploration and creativity! Ask your child about 3D objects or their Apollo 11 recounts. You’ll be amazed at what they’re learning!
Have a great week of learning and fun!
