Student Leaders Induction Day

Last week our College and House Captains came together for their Student Leaders Induction Day.

Feedback from the day has been fantastic, particularly around our guest presenter, Dale Sidebottom, who through his business, The School of Play .Co, led an engaging, play-based session aimed to empower student voice, agency, and leadership.

Students also spent some time workshopping what makes a great leader, and the various opportunities available to them at GSSC. This included discussions around how to make the role their own, drawing on their individual and collective strengths and where they’d like to make a difference.

Thank-you to Mr Robinson for leading the charge on this, it goes a long way towards making our student leaders feel supported and empowered to take on these roles.
