Welcome to your 1/2 DG news update!

Each morning, we begin with our morning prayer and Acknowledgement of Country. 

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to build confidence by leading the class.

In Literacy, we have been engaging with the Little Learners Love Literacy program. To delve further into the program, we have been participating in morning investigations, such as practising our writing and playing decoding bingo! 

In Maths, we have been exploring place value and working with number lines. The students had a great time comparing numbers and collaborating to create a whole-class number line.

In Religion, we have been deepening our understanding of prayer. 

Meanwhile, in Inquiry, we have been investigating the concept of growing older—starting with what makes us unique and the milestones we experience throughout life.
