Faith Education

Dear Families,

At Trinity all students and staff take part in a daily Examen. Here is a bit more information about the Examen.

Examen - A Simple Reflection for the Day

The Daily Examen is a gentle way to pause and reflect on the events of the day, helping us to notice what we are grateful for and how we can grow as individuals. It’s a practice that encourages us to recognise the good in our lives and to think about how we respond to different moments—both joyful and challenging.

This simple reflection comes from St. Ignatius of Loyola, who believed that regularly taking time to pause and look back on the day was a valuable habit. Jesuits and many others still use this practice today as a way to develop gratitude, awareness, and a sense of purpose.

At Trinity, all students take just a few moments each day to reflect. This happens straight after snack break at 2.25pm. We focus on how the students appreciate the blessings in their lives, their connection with God and consider how they can bring kindness and love into the world.
