English Department Report 

With March now upon us, NAPLAN tests are rapidly approaching for the Year 7’s and 9’s.

It’s worth remembering that these tests are just a general indicator of current performance, and are only one way students can show off their skills! That being said, it is very important that students try their hardest for these tests, as they form a significant part of the school’s data and focus. 

The timeline for the English tests is below, and you can access a more detailed testing timetable, as well as all details about NAPLAN on the Compass timeline. 

Wednesday, 12th March: All Year 7 and 9 Writing tests 

Thursday, 13th March: All Year 7 reading tests 

Friday, 14th March: All Year 9 Reading tests 

Monday, 17th March: All 7 and 9 Language Conventions tests
