The Foundation learners have been busy settling into school. In literacy they have been learning about letters and sounds, how they are made and learning form their letters. The Foundation learners been practising hearing beginning sounds in words through play, searching for images and object that begin with each letter. They have also been learning to match capital and lower case letters together. 

In Numeracy, the Foundation learners have been busy learning about numbers, what they look like and their values. They have been exploring numbers through hands on experience. Gather different items for each number that equal to their values and paractising their number formation. 

Year 6 Inquiry Launch! 

The Year 6’s have launched their Inquiry unit for Term 1- Health!  Students are eagerly delving into the exploration of various aspects of their health. With a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm. They aim to learn what it means to lead a healthy lifestyle. From understanding the importance of balanced nutrition to exploring the significance of physical activity, mental well-being, and emotional resilience.

Through inquiry-based learning, they are empowered to ask questions, seek answers, and discover insights that will not only enrich their understanding but also inspire them to make informed choices for their own well-being. This term promises to ignite a passion for health beyond the classroom.
