Principal's Message to the School Community
Dear KPS families,
Our 2024 School Council has now been formed. Thank you to those who were nominated or nominated themselves. At the closure of the nominations for the Parent Member category of School Council the number of nominations equalled the number of vacancies therefore we thank and congratulate the following people who have been elected for a two year term:

The next School Council Meeting is on Thursday March 21st where nominations for office bearers will be sought.
Swimming News
Our Swimming Program has now begun! Students have been well prepared and engaged and it has been inspiring to see them using their personal strengths to move beyond their comfort zones and attempt to master new skills and behaviours in the pool.
National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN)
Our grade three and five students will participate in NAPLAN beginning on Wednesday March 13th with the writing assessment. NAPLAN dates and information was Newsfed via COMPASS last week.
