We had a busy week celebrating Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday. On Tuesday we all ate delicious pancakes made by our very own Mr Cliff, Mr Danny & Miss Ale. Thanks to all the other staff that helped prepare them. Shrove Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday which marks the first day of Lent. People make and enjoy pancakes on Shrove Tuesday as a way to use up ingredients like eggs, milk, and sugar before the fasting period of Lent.

On Wednesday we had our Ash Wednesday Mass. We all had ashes made from the palm leaves from the previous year's Palm Sunday.  It was also Mr Iacopino’s first Mass at our school and he did an amazing job.

Don't forget next week the school is holding a 123 Magic and Emotion Coaching Parent Session on Monday evening from 6.30 pm - 8.00 pm. We strongly encourage parents/carers to sign up for it, it would be great for our parents to learn more about about our whole school approach to behaviour guidance and teaching self-regulation. You can also learn lots of tips to use with us at home.

Here is the scan code to sign up
