Welcome back to Term 4, we are excited for what’s to come! We started term with a bang with whole school swimming lessons. The children have been fantastic, getting changed quickly and managing their things.  We have minimal lost property at the office. Speaking of lost property, please make sure your hats and jumpers are labelled so we can make sure we can get them back to you. No hat, no play and the sun is becoming fierce.

Miss Sharreena and the children have finalised the hours for Children's University for this year and have rehearsed for their upcoming graduation. A reminder to CU parents to register for your tickets ASAP. I’m looking forward to the turning of our 40 children’s tassels and celebrating their achievements with them.  If your child is interested in finding out about Children's University for 2024 please email the school.

Next week our Year 6s head off to Canberra for their much-anticipated camp. Canberra Camp is such an amazing opportunity for our students who will visit Parliament, the Science Museum, the Mint and more! There is also a quick stop in Sydney on the way home. Thanks to all the parents who have BBQ'd and fundraised to support their child to attend the trip.  Thanks also to our staff who are going on the trip, Ms Moloney, Mrs Clark and Mr Ramzy for giving up your personal time. Have a blast everyone.

Next Friday is World Teachers’ Day in Australia. We are encouraging you to follow the link and make your own 'hats off to teachers' and share it to our Facebook page.  World Teachers' Day - 27 October 2023 (worldteachersday.edu.au)  At Living Waters we are blessed to have dedicated, professional, kind and creative teachers who always go above and beyond for our students. This is our prayer for them: Dear God, Thank you for the amazing teachers who have given their lives to serve our children. Fill them with the strength to lead, grace to guide and hope to thrive in their classroom. Bless them beyond measure for their willingness to pour into the next generation through education. Amen.
