October is Mental Health Month

Today marked the commencement of Mental Health First Aid sessions for both Year 8 and Year 10 students. Each student has received a workbook to work through during the week, and they will be able to retain it following Thursday's session. I had the opportunity to observe the first portion of session one, during which the students actively engaged with the material, which primarily focused on understanding Mental Health. Nick, the presenter, also provided an overview of what to expect in the upcoming sessions. 

SWPBS Photo Competition 

The school will display printed photos around the premises for a week-long voting period. The announcement of the winners will follow the conclusion and finalisation  of the voting. We extend our gratitude to all the participating students; the submitted photos are truly impressive.
