Transition Information

Hello and welcome to Ringwood North Primary School
We are delighted to welcome all of our new Prep students for 2024 and are looking forward to getting to know you throughout Term 4.
This online newsletter will be emailed to families throughout the term and provide you with special messages from our teachers and staff. It will provide information from the Prep team and students will have the opportunity to get to see in and around the school, and hear from people who they will be seeing regularly in their first year of school. There will also be information 'From the office' to help parents navigate the paper work and administration involved with starting school: uniforms, fees, accessing our parent portal and many more.
Students will have the chance to visit and meet their teachers and their buddies face-to-face during our transition session. Prep teachers will also have the opportunity to visit students at kinder, which will occur throughout October and November.
For this first issue, we would just like to outline some key dates for next term. At RNPS we are prone to get a little creative during the term, so these are the basic events and you can expect a few fun surprises, too.

In the meantime ...
There have been a lot of great events this year shared through our social media pages that will be a great way to help your child become more familiar with the school.
On Instagram you will find a range of posts celebrating exciting moments throughout the year. https://www.instagram.com/ringwoodnorthps/
Many families will visit the school over the weekends. Explore the grounds and have a play on the oval or playgrounds. Getting accustomed to the physical environment and knowing how to get from the basketball courts to the back of the school can be a big help.
