YEAR 1 SPOTLIGHT

What a Term 3 we have had!

We celebrated Grandparents Day, and Father's Day and had so much fun during our excursion to Farrer. We have written some beautiful Big Writes about "Curious Creatures' and "How to make Fairy Bread". We have also learned about amazing 3D objects and marvellous multiplication and dynamic division.

All classes had a great time looking after Sid the Sloth and Serena the Sloth. We had lots of adventures showing Sid and Serena around our classrooms.

We have also been practising for our end-of-year presentation and cannot wait to show you.

Next term is going to be another jam-packed term filled with lots of learning and a fabulous end to Year 1.

We hope that you have a wonderful holiday break, stay safe and look forward to seeing you all again in Term 4.

Kind regards

Year 1 Teachers

YEAR 6 SPOTLIGHT

Year 6 has had a busy few weeks since our last grade newsletter spotlight. Our students participated in a whole-day Confirmation Retreat at school, over 60 of our students made their Confirmation, Year 6 dressed up for their last Book Week parade and more than half of the grade participated in the Soccer and Netball Gala days.

In class we have been busy finishing off a range of art pieces we have been working on throughout the term and running a test launch of our water-powered rockets before making improvements and making the final launch of these this week.

After a busy and enjoyable term, we are sure the students are looking forward to a well-deserved holiday break and coming back refreshed for their last term of primary school.

Our wonderful intern teacher Miss Molly Hayes finishes up her time at St Nicholas this week and we wish her all the best as she returns to a full-time position in Sydney next term.
