Unit 4 Connect Education Lectures

Elevate are returning to deliver the 2nd session of revision for your subject on the following dates at 3:10 - 4:30pm.

• History & Biology - Wednesday 13 September
• Legal & Psychology - Thursday 14 September

Please note, students who missed out on the Unit 3 revision sessions do have the opportunity to pay and join in on these Unit 4 sessions. Those that paid for Unit 3 have already been booked in and paid for Unit 4. 

Year 12 Practice Examinations (Monday 18 – Thursday 21 September)

All Year 12 Students will participate in the Unit 3 & 4 practice examinations during the first week of the term 3 break. These examinations will be sent to external examiners who provide valuable feedback on students’ progress. The exam timetable has been published to Compass. Students are asked to arrive 10 minutes prior to the beginning of each exam and enter the school via the Front Office. All other areas of the school will be locked and inaccessible, including student lockers. 

2023 Year 12 - End of Year Events

The last day of Year 12 classes is fast approaching. Please take a moment  to  read  through,  and mark in  your  diary,  the  information provided in on Compass which outlines the arrangements in place for the completion of Term 4, and the time leading up to the commencement of VCE Year 12 examinations and Valedictory Evening and to make payment and provide consent. 

Year 10 CAT Redemption Session

In order to support our Year 10 students to achieve success in their Year 10 studies and preparedness for VCE, Senior School is implementing a Year 10 CAT (Common Assessment Task) Redemption Session after school on selected Thursdays throughout the term from 3:15pm – 4:25pm in rooms 321/322. 

Year 10 students will be booked into this session if:

• They have missed a CAT in class due to being absent for either medical or school approved activities such as excursion, camp, school sport, music or other extra-curricular activities.
   
• The CAT that was submitted has not satisfactorily met the requirements of the task. In this case a redemption task will be given to provide another opportunity for the student to demonstrate their understanding of key knowledge and skills being assessed. 

The CAT redemption session will appear on the student's Compass schedule. We encourage students with part-time employment to allow for this when advising their employer of their availability.  Please contact the relevant Year 10 Coordinator if you have any further questions.
