Grade 5 & 6 State Library Excursion

On Tuesday the Grade 5s and 6s visited the Victoria State Library. We had a tour of the site, and learnt about Australia's colonial history (and whether a source is primary or secondary). Throughout the tour, we also learnt about Ned Kelly and the Aboriginal leader, Beruk. We also found that Victoria had been shaped via colonisation.

We visited the La Trobe Reading Section, which had a beautiful structure and a lot of books. We enjoyed this visit thoroughly and hope to come again!
