Darwinia House

Hi, my name is Saima and I am the Year 9 SRC representative for Darwinia House.

At the end of last Term, we had the Chorales Competition and our House sang “Titanium”. We practised most lunch times and many times after school. It was a really great opportunity to get together as a House and engage with our teachers. Thank you to the House Captains, Mr Davies and Mr Dietzsch for helping us rehearse and play the guitar for us. Thank you to Mr Greaves for giving us snacks for motivation.

This Term, we will be fundraising for the Monash Childrens’ Hospital by selling hot chocolate at lunch times. Keep your eyes and ears out for posters and announcements letting you know when it’s happening.

We are looking forward to the Cultural Week at the end of this Term. It will be really exciting and fun to see everyone dressed up in their own unique cultural dress. I’m also looking forward to the cultural performances at lunch time.

I hope everyone has a good Term and does their best with their studies.
