All aboard for adventure
Year 2 students swapped the classroom for a red double-decker bus last week for the ultimate sight-seeing tour of Hobart's historic landmarks.
Key stops along the way included a visit to Rosny Hill Lookout - offering awe-inspiring views of Hobart and the Derwent River, Cascade Gardens and the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, where students enjoyed the opportunity to stretch their legs, play amongst the trees and brave the chill in the Sub-Antarctic Plant House.
Gear up, thrill-seekers!
Our thrill-seeking Outdoor Education students have hit the tracks and trails of Derby for their action-packed mountain biking camp.
The four-day adventure will see the group tackle a number of the world-famous Blue Derby Mountain Bike Trails while traversing some of the most stunning of Tasmanian landscapes. We wish all students and staff an amazing, unforgettable trip!
Students get a taste of all things health
Students in Years 10-12 with an interest in health-related fields recently had the opportunity to visit the Sandy Bay campus at the University of Tasmania where they engaged with staff across multiple disciplines – including nursing, pharmacy, exercise and sport science, and psychology – and participated in hands-on activities in clinical and scientific settings.
