Parent Code of Conduct

One of the key aspects of partnership is understanding the expectations and behaviours of our community. We have Staff, Students and Volunteer Codes of Conduct and have recently completed our Parent Code of Conduct. The code of conduct is linked below and will also be on our website. As a general rule, our parent and carer community are absolutely wonderful to partner with, however, we do on occasion have situations that are not appropriate and cause our staff significant stress. The Code of Conduct sets out the expected standards of behaviour and some of the consequences that could result in a breach of the Code. Please read the Code and contact me if you have any questions relating to it.

Reports

Teachers are working on finalising reports at the moment, and they will be distributed in the last week of term. There is a significant amount of time and effort that goes into the reports with students completing important assessments, and teachers marking and reflecting on student progress. If you see a teacher around at the moment give them some encouragement for all of the care they are putting into making sure that parents have a good picture of their children’s progress.

Tasmania Camp Parent Session

Final preparations are being made for our Tasmania camp early next term. Our young people are very excited to be participating. There is a parent briefing next Thursday June 27, to give final instructions to prepare for the camp.
