Caritas Ks Walk for Water
Tomorrow, as a school community, we will walk the track together to raise money and build awareness for those in our global community who do not have the resources needed to live a life like ours here at St Francis of the Fields.
As part of the walk, each class will carry a bucket of water, symbolising the number of steps some people around the world must take simply to access clean drinking water. When it is your child/ren’s turn to carry the bucket, we encourage them to reflect on the reality that for many people, this journey must be made multiple times every day.
We will gather as a whole school community at 9:30am in the shed, before walking the track together until approximately 10:30am.
Thank you to all families who have already donated—especially during a time of rising petrol prices and increasing interest rates. Your generosity has helped us raise over $1,000, with donations still open.
If you would like to contribute, please use the QR code or the link below.
Together, we walk in solidarity.
