Story time with Bella

BELLA is an integral member of the wellbeing team. This week, up to 60 students joined us for story time with Bella.

Reading together promotes children's growth, ignites their imagination, and nurtures creative thinking. It also serves as a calming activity that helps children unwind and feel secure, creating a comforting routine and a safe space for relaxation.

We believe that story time with Bella plays a crucial role in our students' development and fosters a lifelong love of books and learning.

We invite you to join us next Thursday during recess in the blue carpet area. We can't wait to see what story Bella will share next!

Remember to be quiet when near Bella, and pat her on the approved zones – chest, back or tummy.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club runs on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s mornings over near the gym area. It is staffed by some of our Education Support staff and student volunteers. We firmly believe that students need to have a good breakfast to be regulated and focussed on the classroom. We are always looking for more volunteers so if you think you could help from 8.25am please just contact Naomi Mc Master at school. We offer fruit , milk and toast. We are aware of allergies alerted on student files. It is a ‘grab and go’ set up so we can cater for lots of students to have a healthy snack before class.

Remember to thank our lovely volunteers!

LEGO CLUB Year 4 students have signed up to operate a Lego Club in the Blue Carpet area. More details to come! We would love any spare lego pieces you may no longer be using.  If you have some to spare please drop into the Front Office.

ON-SITE PSYCHOLOGIST

We have private practitioner, psychologist Meaghan Morley, working out of our school one day a week on a Thursday.  We understand how difficult it is to get students to appointments out of school hours, and the long waiting lists people face. Thus, we feel very fortunate that we are able to offer you this service.  Meaghan completes a range of assessments including cognitive, behavioural and educational at a competitive cost. Prices start at $500. A copy of the fees available upon request.  If you would like more information, please speak with Luana Lane in the Student Support Office.

FUN IN THE YARD Year 5 Play Leaders and Helping Hub students are in the junior school courtyards each lunchtime offering an array of activities and games for them to participate in.
