We are looking forward to our Rock n Soup Nights coming up soon. You don't need to bring anything along, just yourselves and enjoy some yummy soup that the children are making while you decorate a rock to be placed in our yard for the children to find and hide.
This will be a great chance to mingle with other families at the kinder. We hope to see you there!
Waratah & Wattle Group Lasiandra & Banksia Group
Thank you to all the Dads, Grandads and special people who came and spent some time in the kinder rooms with the children this week. It was so great to have you and the children loved showing you all around their kinder. We hope you enjoyed the Father's Day celebrations.
Wattle Group had the drumming incursion arrive last week and they had so much fun!! Every child was given the opportunity to play their own drum and learn unique fun musical patterns which incorporated the dynamics of sound, tempo and rhythm.
As of Monday 2nd September the children are required to wear hats, as per our sunsmart policy when outside. Please ensure that all hats are clearly named so they can make their way back to the right person if they go missing! It is great to also get your child in the habit of applying sunscreen prior to session in the morning. Allow them to apply it themselves with your help, making sure they don't miss spots. We also have sunscreen in the rooms and mirrors for the children to apply throughout the day.
