Composting Certificates

At the Year 3 to 6 Assembly on Monday this week, the Sustainability Leaders, Claire and Isla, presented Composting Certificates to another two classes. It is pleasing to see so many students caring about the future of our planet and embracing composting, recycling, re-using and re-purposing at school.

Congratulations to 5SD and 6GS on being awarded Composting certificates for their contribution to the composting efforts at school and their care for the environment.

September is Save the Koala Month

Save the Koala Month is the annual worldwide event dedicated to raising awareness about Koalas and their habitat. Koalas are vulnerable to natural disasters. Tens of thousands of koalas were killed when bushfires devastated large areas of Australia in late 2019 and early 2020. The Australian government officially considers koalas an endangered species. Show your love for Australia's koala in September by raising awareness of threats to their habitat (from humans and nature) and join fundraising activities to support the Koala.
