PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Mrs Jillian Rainger
jrainger@arm.catholic.edu.au
I enjoyed being involved in several activities last week. I had the opportunity between Kindergarten interviews to spend some time in the Year 8 and Year 9 Christian Living Days as well as attending First Holy Communion on Sunday. The Mass at Sacred Heart Church was beautiful because our students and their families made it so by their reverence and commitment. Thank you to Mrs Mary-Jane Guest for her continual organisation and attention to detail to make these occasions so special. Thank you also to Mrs Wales and Mrs Murphy who prepared the students and to our staff who sang with the Trinity Singers at the Mass. Sharing the Catholic faith with our students is fundamental to what we do at our school and the way that students engage with this is a testament to the power of Jesus' message of love, charity, kindness, and care.
On Friday I enjoyed being the commentator at our K-2 Athletics Carnival. It is wonderful to see the enthusiasm of the students and their willingness to give it a go. Thank you to the huge crowd of parents who attended to cheer on the students. We are lucky to have such wonderful support.
I am currently working on staffing for 2025. I would like to inform the school community that Mr Shayne Smith and Mrs Chloe Smith will be leaving Holy Trinity School at the end of the year. Shayne and Chloe moved from Sydney 3 years ago and contributed positively to our school community. After the birth of Eli, they have decided to move closer to family for support. We currently have the Assistant Principal (Primary) position advertised.
It is with great sadness that I also let the school community know that Trish Dal Santo will be leaving at the end of the year. Trish and her husband Pete are moving to the coast to be closer to their children. Trish has made an enormous contribution to our school and will be missed enormously.
At the end of the year we will have the opportunity to say thank you and farewell.
We have also begun recruiting for secondary teachers in preparation for our move to Year 11 and 12. If you know anyone that is interested in joining the HTS team please let them know. The jobs will be on our Facebook page in the coming days. They are also posted on the SEEK site and the Teachers on net site.
I am currently finalising student numbers for 2025. If your family is moving to another school in 2025 could you please let us know as soon as possible by emailing jrainger@arm.catholic.edu.au or cdyer@arm.catholic.edu.au.
Best wishes
