You are invited to our Whole School Mission Month Mass on Wednesday 16th October

Our 4/5 class is leading our whole school Mission Month Mass on

Wednesday 16th October, 2.15pm at Immaculate Conception Church.

Everyone is welcome to attend this special celebration.

October is World Mission Month

Together, we have the power to create change and build a more just world for people everywhere.

By supporting missionaries in their work, we can create life-changing opportunities for countless children, families, and communities worldwide.

St Mary's is proudly participating in Catholic Mission's Socktober. Throughout October, our students will be taking part in engaging activities in their daily classroom prayer as well as during Religious Education Lessons. We will also be having a 'Fun Sock Day' to raise money for the work of Catholic Mission around the world.

Socktober for Mission Month cultivates the passion of students to rise up, engage their local community, and take action against poverty. It provides young people in Australia with the opportunity to lead in mission, encouraging them to think not only of what they will do to help, but why they will do it.

Adult Faith Slides Term 4, Weeks 1 & 2

Please take some time to read and reflect on our Faith theme for the fortnight through the slides below:

Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop ~ Quote of the week

As we continue to journey with Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop each day at St Mary's let us live out her wise and comforting words: "Do all you can to assist and love one another". - Mary MacKillop, 1890.

How does this quote resonate with you?

What are you grateful for today?

How can you apply it to your life?
