Human Powered Vehicle

The student-led, Human Powered Vehicle (HPV) project has been offered to students in 2024. Due to insufficient confirmed numbers this program was unable to continue. This program relies upon students, their families and the school working together to resource the car and attend an event. We will continue to review the viability of this project and provide guidance to students and families in 2025.

Uniform

As the weather changes it is important that students are prepared with correct uniform. This includes shoes, socks and clothing being an appropriate length. For students presenting out of uniform they will be reminded, given alternative uniform for the day and a minor chronicle listed. For repeat instances, a major chronicle will be listed and parent/guardian support will be sought to assist us with uniform compliance. For instances when uniform passes are required we ask for a written note or an email to the Office or Home Group Teacher.

Family Partnership

At Mt Beauty Secondary College, we welcome and encourage parents/guardians to be partners in a student's learning journey. Teachers are open to contact to check on how students are performing and to work together to maximise opportunities at school.
