YEAR 3

FROM THE CLASSROOM
We ended our term with amazing baked muffins in STEM. We followed a recipe and observed how different ingredients changed states from liquids to solids. It was definitely the most tasty STEMlesson this year.
In Writing, we continued to write our independent applications of our narrative suspense text. Where time permitted, we were also able to publish our writing.
In Mathematics, we reviewed topics we had studied throughout the year and extended our knowledge into problem solving practice problems.
In Reading, we further investigated the book "What's on Your Plate? Exploring Food Around the World" where students deepened their understanding on unique food cultures and traditions around the world.
