THE RAMLEGH CUP | SOCCER FINALS

Yesterday, we held the finals of The Ramlegh Cup Soccer, and what a fantastic event it was!

Students showed great teamwork, sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout the competition, making it a wonderful celebration of soccer at Ramlegh Park.

In the Year 3/4 final, Fury took on Stars, with Stars coming away as the champions.

In the Year 5/6 final, Kings played Roar, with Kings taking out the win.

Please join us in congratulating our Year 3/4 champions, Stars, and our Year 5/6 champions, Kings, on their outstanding efforts.

Well done to all students who participated and helped make The Ramlegh Cup such a success.

The Next Season of The Ramlegh Cup will Commence in Term 3.

TERM 2 COOKING CLUB

Thursday Cooking Club has been extremely popular with the Grade 5's this term. We have been experimenting with recipes that use Weetbix, Rolled Oats and Honey from our Food Bank Victoria supplies. We are very lucky to have access to the Food Bank Victoria program. We place weekly orders for Breakfast and Cooking Club, they also supply our Community Pantry items.

Students learn ways to use up the broken Weet-Bix, turning them into healthy biscuits and slices. We have also made some very tasty Vegetable Puffs.

The students have shared the food with Breakfast Club and have also supplied food to visitors for afternoon tea and the parents who joined The Common Thread Project.

We have been given some recipes to try from Monash Health who are putting a cookbook together for schools. We look forward to sharing these with you next term.
