COMMUNITY SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS
Congratulations to Francesca T (6LB) who recently represented Team Vic at the SSA 12 Years & Under Girls Soccer Championships — and made history in the process!
For the first time ever, Team Vic claimed the Silver Medal, improving on their previous best result of Bronze. It was a thrilling campaign that saw Team Vic undefeated until the final match against perennial champions NSW. In the end, just one goal separated Team Vic from the Gold!
Team Vic results:
- VIC vs SA — 0–0
- VIC vs ACT — 2–0
- VIC Blue vs VIC White — 1–0
- VIC vs WA — 1–0
- VIC vs NT — 3–0
- VIC vs QLD — 2–1
- VIC vs NSW — 0–1
Francesca played as a forward, contributing strongly to the team’s attacking efforts and showing great determination against the best defences in the country.
What an incredible achievement, Francesca — we’re all so proud of you and your teammates for this historic result! 💪🏼
If your child achieves something special (grand final win, most valuable player award, best and fairest etc.), please email me (jordan.daley@education.vic.gov.au) through photos and an overview of the achievement to post in Contact. It is important to celebrate and recognise such successes with the school community.

The Inclusion Action Team is excited to invite everyone to a special event:
The Inclusion Parade!
On this day, come dressed in something that represents who you are. This could be a cultural outfit, the colours of your flag, or something that reflects your personality and hobbies.
We’ll be holding a parade at 9:15am to celebrate and showcase all of your amazing outfits. During the day, members of our Inclusion Action Team will also share what inclusion looks and sounds like, and how we can all play a part in creating an inclusive community.
We can’t wait to see your creativity and celebrate what makes each of us special!
